Ohhhh Sang and Serena

"Sang and Serena believe in a transmodern future. They see a world in which people have solid and insightful relationships, give back to others and to the Earth, and reap the rewards that they seek out. In short, their business is about being good, doing good, and having good."--S&S Company

Sang and Serena sources their furniture from the state of Rajasthan. Bone and mother of pearl are used to make each piece: "The bone is extracted from camels that have passed on naturally; its cream-colored opacity manages to exude an elegant rusticity. Meanwhile, the mother of pearl is separated from the outer shells of water-dwelling mollusks; its shine is incredible, opalescent." The website states the company seek goods exemplifying three important, sustainable concepts: eco-luxe, East-meets-West, and old world-new needs. Each piece presented is unique and handcrafted. Check out the sets where they photographed each work––from sourcing to crafting to display this company is just so cool.

Enjoy!
